The Document Composition Specialist is responsible for the analysis of business and software requirements to design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain composition applications. If you have advanced knowledge of the Solimar suite of products, GMC Inspire, HP Dialogue, XMPie, and/or other leading composition tools, we want to speak with you! This position reports to the Programming Supervisor.

Due to the complexity of the work, experience is required.

As a Document Composition Specialist your responsibilities would include:
• Influencing and developing our infrastructure, processes and protocols.
• Using third party software to perform document re-engineering tasks.
• Transforming, creating and delivering output to a myriad of production class printers.
• Designing and optimizing workflows using Solimar/Rubika and other relevant software to manage print re-engineering workflow solutions that greatly enhance document distribution and management in transactional printing and web presentment environments.
• Create and maintain process related documentation.
• Maintain and support ADF workflows on behalf of our customers.

Experience & Skills Required:
• Preferred B.S. in Computer Science or other related discipline.
• 8-9 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of print mail systems and print file formats such as PostScript, AFP and PDF is required.
• Effective communicator of concepts to technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to contribute to the development of solid business/technical proposals.
• Capacity to effectively handle multiple technical roles in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established time-frames.

Preferred Skills:
• Programming skills such as .NET, JAVA, C#, and SQL.

LENGTH:  Permanent Placement

RATE:  $75K-$90K

LOCATION:  Irving, TX
